I Just want a chatbox on the pc. at least  lol  Pretty shocking there is none.  Its very depressing to play an online multiplayer and I can't even communicate with people.  

and ya no turn based online multiplayer modes is a disappointment.  I'm hoping they add them.    It sure makes wanting to buy gear less appealing if you can't really show it off to other players.

How can people defend a sports game that cannot keep score? Scoring is the very essence of the game of golf. This game does have great potential, but that potential will mean nothing if they don’t address these fundamental flaws.

@epicdrome37Anyone remember the 2k23 launch? Their first update actually made the game worse. And they haven't improved much since then. The launch of this game has been far smoother than what 2k23 delivered. And even to this day 2k23 has constant crashes, disconnects and difficulty starting an online game. 2k23 has no flexibility or choices for alt shot, 4 ball etc. EA had an artificial launch date of the Masters and had to deliver. I would expect EA to deliver more online modes(alt shot, etc) and turns based play soon as they likely were almost ready at launch but didn't pass QA. Yes, EA has a ways to go but they've delivered a far better game at this pt in it's life than 2k23 did.

Headgate is the legendary studio responsible for the tigerwoods series in the mid 2000s.  Those golf games have yet to be surpassed.  the 2008 version got tossed around between Tiburon and Salt Lake.  Then EA SPorts completely abandoned the PC after 2008.  But the writing was on the wall when they sold their sole rights to MLB in 2005 and the two companies that bought them, one of them being 2k,  didn't even make a PC version. 

This game being on the PC for the first time in 15 years literally bought a tear to my eye lol.  I've watched the evolution of computers through golf games.   EA's World Tour Golf in 1986 on the pc was a huge evolution step.  It literally showed how not only was a computer a viable gaming platform,  it was better then intellivision or atari lol.     It even had its own course map maker. 

So I mean I'm just grateful to have a game to play.   ALl I want is turnbased online multiplayer game modes. A Chat Box and voip.   and a way to look up other players stats.   And I will be in complete heaven.   The gameplay as it is is fine by me.  This is an EA Sports game,  that is without a doubt.

Okay so im guessing the biggest problem we have is that we were spoiled by TIGER WOODS games back in the day. We thought we were gonna get all the great features those games had. LOBBIES,Cool character creations, Funny and cool celebrations.Chat, A lot of multiplayer modes with updated graphics and better physics. Well we got... Updated graphics and better physics the rest was left out.

Paying £90.00 for an unfinished product, that’s the bottom line. That’s what people have a problem with. Most people can deal with the odd bug here or there, but to release something that’s so barebones and claim they are “listening” to the community with features that should already be in game is scandalous.

Compare this game to FIFA for instance, it’s night and day. If this was FIFA all these bugs would have been ironed out because FUT makes them so much money beyond the original sale it’s in their best interest. That’s where PGA differs. People don’t have to spend money after the sale, so, effectively, they’ve made all their money. They can do what the * they want now with content & patches, has no effect on them whatsoever.

every shot being a full shot is what annoys me the most. It's stupid and not like golf at all.
