I'm assuming most of the players playing this game will be creating and playing as themself in this game. Right now the amount of custom options you have to make the character look like you is incredibly limited. I'm not saying I want to Photoscan myself into the game, but at least allow me to edit my face a bit so it can somewhat look like me. So far I've spoken to several players who can't even remotely make the player look like them.
And the clothing selection is pretty lame too. On the female golfers, the shirts all look like maternity shirts.
Would be cool if you could use your phone to take a front and side photo and send it to them for them to implement in the game. I’d happily pay a small fee if it looked far better and more accurate than what I could create

yes I agree, we have never seen anything as advanced as the player creation as the old pga tour games. Everyone really looked so unique. It was really before its time those games lol. Really EA should just look at those old latest games from previous pga tour series and add as much as they can to this game.
The option to scan your face is nice, but not everybody can do that properly. I think the faces need to be worked on or overhauled. Some of the faces look worse than the faces on the crowd characters. It looks like character faces from years ago(like from Skyrim) on a current game engine. They must be able to update faces to look far better than they do today, and I agree, being able to adjust features would be great as well. So many people have complained about this that it's gotta be on their list to work (fingers crossed)

check out all the options we had for character creation in the old game. people use to make aliens and little gremlins too it was funny. big fat guys. I still believe it to be the most detailed character creation in gaming history. No player looked the same if people took the time to change every detail. @ragingsaintYeah I wondered why they just didn't use Fifa's CC and hair given it is the same engine. It may have been becqause of the wind system the game uses given th ewind also blows you rcharacters hair in the game but I'll admit seeing the kind of hair you can use in Fifa and how you can create some nice pretty looking coaches and players I actually think the wind system would have worked brilliantly with it. Would have loved to have made a female golfer that looked like some of my femal efootballers and coaches
I am still waiting for the post where EA apologizes for accidentally putting in a character creation from another golf game they wanted to release 2010. 😃
