Patch 10 - Feedback and Discussion Thread

I'm not expecting much, the game will probably be more broken after adding more coding. It wouldn't surprise me they add more RNG like they did on patch 9.

After reading the patch notes on Steam, doesn't seem like much of anything has been added or fixed. Kinda lost hope on this game.

The coding has had multiple layers put into it. For example it would have been easier to reverse the effect of the lipout physics of the Notorious Update Three if the change occurred in Update 4.0. By Update 10, it would be a herculean task to even fix the highly nested code. 

For all we know, the dev who did that coding is one of the 2 guys now working at 2K for their golf game.

Imagine if the next iteration of EA PGA Tour becomes like TW14 while 2K has the RNG and Andrei Vasilevskiy’s Net because those 2 guys who did the coding is now in 2K. We could see people comparing 2K with the possible TW25 in 2K’s forum. That big reversal of fortune could happen if those 2 guys at 2K were the same who coded the Notorious Update Three.

Imagine if 2k had RNG lol

Somehow, the game looks better. I didn’t see anything about that in updates.  But in SIM mode, off the tee, the fairway views look way better.  More realistic views of distance and aiming. The greens seem to show more of how the ball will break.  Enhanced shadows? I just played 36 holes at Bandon Dunes, SIM and it looks great! I haven’t noticed any glitches that were so predominant in all the previous updates. 

Patch 10 and we still don't have turn based play. Who plays golf like this in real life? Answer is ---- No One but EA Devs apparently and they don't care about us. 2K23 is still a better game.
