PGA TOUR Error Code 5 on PC Windows 11

I have recently purchased this game and I am getting error code 5 every time the game wants to save anything.  This is preventing me playing any career mode and basically not fit for purpose.

I have looked at the other discussions on the EA Forums and there are a lot of things to try to resolve this issue.  I have exhausted every thing possible and still no solution.

It seems sad in this day and age that errors in games like this exist.  What is EA going to do about it?  I don't seem to be able to get a refund.  Seems like I have been robbed.

    So I found a fix for this….. what you wanna do is load up the game, hit continue after each error till you get to the main lobby. Open up file explorer while game is open and go to documents and delete the pga tour file than go back to the game and save a change in the settings like tooltips to disable, if disabled already enable it save it than Disable it and save it. Now when you close your game and Load back up you won’t get that error anymore. Let me know if that worked for you.

    SOLVED:  I fixed the issue.  I have a NAS and my home drive is linked to it.  I changed it to my local machine and the game started working.  So EA please fix the URL issue!!
