I figure complaining some more about this might draw some attention... but nope, you (EA) need to hot fix this RIGHT NOW!! im trying to level up and you (EA) are costing me strokes due to my putts rolling right over the hole...
leveling is one thing, but when this comes into play with the online versions with other players.....
this is an ongoing problem thats not something you (EA) fix on a patch
Have a read through your own comment history on this forum, look at the general theme in pretty much every single comment. Perhaps then take a step back and realise you’re essentially doing something over and over and over that does nothing but make you angry, why not just move on to another game?
I haven’t been on this forum in months because it was nothing but a massive whine-fest and meeting place for negativity, I come back and essentially the same 10 people are on here posting the same comments.
how about this one, worry about yourself and maybe EA should start addressing the issues that people are complaining about, then this complaining would stop, ever think of fthat?!?
these are simple things that "should" be an easy fix, but EA continues to ignore the player base....
The putting has been an issue since update 3.0 and I have moved on. One thing I noticed is there is more investment on EA FC 24 (aka FIFA 24). There were multiple gameplay issues for people who bought the deluxe version and played early. I got the regular version; by the time I got EA FC 24, the issues I hear on the FC forum got fixed. I am impressed with the response time for hot fix. I am enjoying EA FC 24 with newer Women’s Football Clubs. If the response time for fixing the putting on PGA Tour was the same as in EA FC 24, I would still be playing this game.
Have you seen the revenue generated by the football game in comparison to this? There are like 50x the amount of staff working on it.
Who are all these people complaining? Where are they? Can you show me them all?

as has been pointed out to you on lots of other threads, if many players aren’t having putting issues and you are, have you stopped to think that the issue might not be the game? I’ve played online against people who don’t miss a single putt, because they are very good, dedicated players who have the formula for putting down to a tee. You on the other hand don’t look like you want to admit to needing improvement, instead wasting time ranting on an internet forum about how bad this game is, that you apparently play for hours a day 9 months straight.

Trust me when I say that RagingSaint is not the only one who knows these putting issues exist. He is one of the top players on the PC platform and he knows what he is doing. I also get putts go straight over the hole and I even see the ball bounce off the edge of the cup as if there is a glass tube sticking out of the hole. These issues are very clear and are nothing to do with the players capability.
The problem is not lack of complaints or complainants, it's that when complainants see EA ignore clear issues in favour of adding an extra option in a menu, those complainants tend to give up which leaves EA free to do nothing about the bigger issues in this game.
One more thing, comments like yours actually prevent issues being addressed. A thousand people could make the very same complaint but when just one person comes along and says, "I'm alright Jack", EA thinks everything is hunky dory and does nothing to fix the problem.
To be fair, I don't think general complaints are helping them either. It's not like the issue of a putt rolling over the hole is happening on every hole. It's happening to me maybe once every 15 rounds or so. It's frustrating when it happens, that's for sure. I'll report all the particulars with course, hole number and pin location in the Bugs Reports section next time it happens to me. Maybe that will help.

Absolutely agree with you on this one. My other favorite EA Games are NHL and UFC. These games also get quick fixes. I am also thinking both of these games generate more revenue and have more staff compared to EA PGA Tour. But probably not as high as EA FC 24.

I agree this thread would fit the bug reports or technical issues. It would be nice if this thread got moved to technical issues and have this combined with the other similar threads. I remembered EA moving an issue thread in Madden Forum to technical issues; that issue got fixed eventually.
It's not like this hasn't been reported ad nauseam. I think @theycagednon point is that we didn't need another post about the same issue.
The OP could have just revived an existing thread. As mentioned by many this issue has existed since an early patch to correct an issue where the ball would go in pretty much no matter how hard you hit the ball.
EA's resolution went too far in the other direction and have yet to evaluate and correct it. OR EA feels that it is correct the way it is. Afterall it's been several patches since they changed it and have done nothing to update it.
I have been on this forum since the game has been released. Offered my thoughts on where the game was lacking the same as others... but it is obvious EA has a roadmap they are following.
It seems they are more concerned about following their roadmap than getting the game in a more playable state.
I would argue many of us have moved on to something else than to endure the flaws in this game. Comments are just falling on deaf ears and misery loving company just isn't enough.
You would think that the comments on this forum would form the general feeling about the game in the community, so why aren't EA listening?
