Re: No skill points rewarded

Sadly, it looks like the game is getting more bugs now. This issue was reported again a month ago and no EA dev seem to be working on bugs since the Bug Report section has been merged with Technical Issues.

Sad. My friends gets much better than me because of this...

I demand it fixed.

He definitely got all skill points for level 56.  It seems sometimes there is a delay to get rewards, and it happened to me a while ago to get skill points for my second golfer after leveling up. It's probably what happened too when I started this thread, I got my skill points moments later.

Your issue is hard to follow. It seems like you bought green points with real money, you use some of those to advance faster on pro-pass thinking you were getting level of skill points faster by leveling past 50 in those. But leveling on pro-pass has nothing to do with leveling on skill points, except of sometimes giving you more XP pts to help you leveling up in skill points faster.

I do think EA should have explained this pro-pass thing better, I was confused too the first time it was introduced. Maybe it's something they are doing in some of their other games, I know 2K is doing it too with their Clubhouse pass or whatever it is called for their golf game.

Anyway... don't use real money, it's not worth it unless you really want something special. I got some 1500 green points for buying the deluxe version before the game was released. I still have them, I didn't find nothing worth using them. I'll probably be stuck with them forever.

The issue of skill points being added to the skill tree with no input from the player has not come up before, so I doubt it's an issue. The fact you have/had 2 unused points attests to this. As just mentioned, the pro pass levels do not tally with golfer level or skill points awards. It's the xp award levels in pro pass that add to that, but not that much really. 

You act like all I did was purchase points. I actually played the game. Playing rounds of golf gives you xp after you finish a round. My issue is after I earned enough points to get to the next level...I noticed the game no longer showed the points I had earned and automatically applied them to my character for me I guess. Not allowing me to save the points if I wanted (because some upgrades cost like 12 skill points like for instance, power) if you're only getting 2 per level achieved, you have to save them until you have enough to upgrade the attribute that you want (like for instance power). I don't think my issue is that hard at all to follow. I've said this multiple times and if EA had an actual real customer service line or a real tech support department (instead of cutting corners), I wouldn't still be talking about this DAYS later. This process of getting "help" for game issues is a complete joke. 

I received those 2 points after posting on this thread, much like other people on this thread said they received. No wonder you are lost. All you had to do was read my earlier posts and you would know that. Do you actually get paid to fix issues with this game? If you do then you need to find a different job. And if you aren't paid to do this or you are just commenting...thanks for wasting my time and get a life. EA PLEASE STOP BEING CHEAP AND  GET A REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. 

I did read your earlier posts. You said you were missing 8. You weren't.

It's not about that anymore. You told me that per my current level, I have the skill points I should have. Okay fine. I never choose how those would level up my character. I even have a video. But you keep talking about everything but that.  

I did mention that in an earlier post. I said it had never come up before as a complaint.

I'm not entirely sure it's glitched.

What I've noticed, is the progression bar you're seeing is the entire week summary. 

So if you use training and level up, the level up summary it's showing is both training and the game combined. 

So if you don't train, and you level up from the game, I've noticed I get the skill point.

So it's not glitched. It's a summary of everything. 

I also am not receiving my skill points after level 50. At the end of the round when I level up it says +2 skill points received but nothing is awarded. Platform Xbox, Tag Barbatus, level 53

I’m facing this same issue. The skill points don’t get credited to my skill points balance. I’ve been stuck on 6 SP since level 51 and I’m on level 53 now, and should have had 10 SP. (Tag - PATELYNWA)
