Your ball in 10/15 wind can go straight as an arrow because you roll a double 6 absolute disgrace. I’ve been playing quite a bit of this game and there is no way know where the ball is gonna go I tired trying to rank up my golfer constantly getting rng out of matches if hit a good shot I want the ball to go where I’m aiming ffs it’s not rocket science. Then what’s deciding if the lie will be a factor or getting punished for lazy design. Ea thought we will have two animations for taking shots and if that doesn’t work we will randomly decide if you will be penalised and r giving free drop but if devs weren’t so lazy then they would stick to rules of golf instead I’m having to take drops because of two animations won’t look right disgrace. Integrity of the game of golf has been completely abused by this lot
I don’t know if I agree with completely tho golf is game of skill but no1 can hit the ball exactly where they want so I can live with rng as long as it’s not involved in the putting which I do t think it is in

And that's fine for Sim if they're happy with it, but with Arcade/Pro, we're here to live the life of a golf legend vicariously through the video game.
All they need to do is make the physics accurate and let our stick skills do the rest. If we can master the swing, we shouldn't be punished by the algorithm deciding we shouldn't be that good.
I’m sick of my shots no going where I’m aiming makes me feel like I’m just rolling dice on thats not golf. Also this game is dying online anyway 18hrs a day this game is completely dead and when this game goes on ea play it has once chance to recover but if you hit all those new players with this rank rotten unfair rng on new players so they can’t be competitive they gonna hang around. It’s so stupid and nobody wants it
I’m fine with my ball not going exactly where I want but when drives starts leaking opposite way of the wind that when I get really angry because the time I’m spending taking into acccount wind speed direction elevation then the balls leaks against the wind makes me so angry or ball goes dead straight in heavy crosswind I’m like this is bs. The information the game is giving is just plain lying and that’s what makes me think there is scripting involved for making the matches more dramatic but effect just pissing me off
