Suggestion: All Specs and Items Should be in the Store at Same Time

I have not played this game since the release of Madden NFL 24, but I noticed from pollsters that nothing has changed in the store. When I was playing, I got fed up of the specs rotating every day to force me to log on every day. To make matters worse, I get excited about logging on to only find out that Danielle Kang’s Waste Management specs are in the store. It took months before I got the specs I want. The very last time I logged on, it was another Kang spec. It surprises me that this is still an ongoing issue.

Other games have stores with all items present such as EA FC 24 (aka FIFA), UFC Series, WWE 2K, and PGA 2K. The best model of a store comes from NBA 2K24. In the MyTeam, I am like a General Manager trying to obtain Players and Uniforms. They have a player market to obtain players and a pack market to obtain uniforms, logos and players. What makes this special is that 99% of the players are available except for online rewards. They also have events similar to pro pass to obtain new players. Just in case you miss the event, the players become available in the player market on Friday. Every Friday, new players are added and there is a vc reduction for previous players. I was able to obtain a super team and I almost have collected every Miami Heat uniforms available. NBA 2K24 has a real store. EA PGA Tour would absolutely benefit if it follows this model. Imagine having all specs in store and newer specs are added every Friday while older specs have a price reduction. In addition, specs missed in propass becomes available in store on Friday. This would guarantee many gamers logging on to game often. This is a win win situation; this could be implemented in current game and future iterations.

The other game that has a rotating store like current game was NBA Live 19. We have not seen another NBA Live iteration since.

  • What they have right now is just very frustrating, and I don't blame you or any other users moving to another game.

@Katybee_1313After reading comments about the store and seeing how well the NBA 2K24 store is run, I want to pass the info so EA PGA Tour could also have an awesome store. I hope the store could become a well ran machine like they have in NBA 2K24. Sometimes great games from other sports can provide an inspiration to improve the current state of the current game. Just hope EA PGA Tour or future iterations can learn from an awesome idea of other great games.

The funny thing is that most of the Nike polos they rotate in and out of the store don't actually load when you want to preview/equip them. It's kind of a disaster at the moment.

I understand why they modeled their store this way to keep people coming back daily to see what was available. The problem is they are doing such a poor job of managing it.

Personally I feel it would be better to either make every item available in the stores, so the amount of merchandise just gets bigger as they release new content. OR... create limited amounts of each product, with new stock rotating in occasionally along with new items.

Either way... they really need to have people maintaining the store... and this doesn't seem to be happening.

This is spot on.  It’s not horrible to rotate items to encourage people to login and play, but the rotation needs to be at a reasonable cadence.  Every single item should rotate through the store once a week at a minimum.  Right now we have specs that haven’t been seen in months….

I like your idea of either having all items or the limited items until stock runs out. The latter reminds me of how a store operates.

The way the store operates in the current game reminds me of the bare store shelves due to supply chain issues.
