Thoughts on cosmetic equipment?
I know it is a question late to the party, but I was hoping EA would rethink this concept. I also think it is costing them a lot of monies in micro transactions.
I am a big proponent against this cosmetic concept that both EA and 2K have bought into. Thought it may be much easier to program into the game, it takes so much more playability away.
This is the only reason I have ever purchased a Club House/Season Pass... because I wanted a driver and set of wedges with a given set of attributes.
And rather than fittings allow us to swap out shafts (distance/shot variance), grips (control) and be able to adjust lie angles (trajectory/distance) on our irons (within reason).
I feel this would add life to the game discovering new club combinations that may work better for you. And having new equipment with different attributes might entice us to purchase a seasons pass.
I feel this a big miss on EA's part... and a giant misstep on 2K's.

They have both made the game rather generic... taking the attributes out of the game has taken a huge play element out of it.
