Too many computers

So I've already searched this issue in the forums. The only recommendation is to wait 24 hours. My issue is, I have a gaming laptop with this game installed on and my gaming desktop....that's it. It says you can't have the game on 4 or 5 streaming/pc's which I don't. Can you not somehow see what devices the game has been installed on?

Someone could have access to my account and I wouldn't even know. I installed the latest patch this morning on my laptop at work to give it a test run and now I get home and have to deal with this issue trying to install on desktop.

I'm not sure why I even pay for EA Pro

  • HI @Roy4423 That message will pop up if there are too many attempts within a certain window to access your account/games. You will need to just wait for 24 hrs and should not run into the message at that point.

  • After uninstalling and reinstalling several times last night, now I get a "Your game has failed to launch, please check your connection" error message. I've  tried everything from disabling  my anti-virus, firewall, etc. I've ran the sfc /scannow command and nothing works. I'm  able to launch the game on my laptop without issues. I'm  also able to launch all the other EA games like Fifa 23, Madden 23 and so on.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    HI @Roy4423 That message will pop up if there are too many attempts within a certain window to access your account/games. You will need to just wait for 24 hrs and should not run into the message at that point.

    @EA_Illium  I guess that was the issue. I just don't understand why all of a sudden I got the message. 

  • I have this issue with Jedi Survivor - the game crashing seems to trigger a new count even though it's the same computer and the same hardware.  Waiting 24 hours is not a solution, it's a workaround to the problem that your software is not doing it's job properly and incorrectly counting the number of installations!

    Can you please update with how this can be reset, when a fix will be forthcoming, or how you will be compensating your customers for arbitrarily removing access to paid-for software for 24 hours - do I get a 24 hour credit back on my Play subscription for example?

  • Can’t I access the game anytime I want because I own it!!!!.. I logged in this morning and logged out changing network.. and then booom.. too many computers has pop up.. just one try.. so my question is how many times do you want us to log in a certain window?
