Unrealistic Difficulty in PGA Tour 2023 Career Mode – Anyone Else Struggling?
Hey everyone,
I've run into a massive issue with PGA Tour 2023's Career Mode that seems like a horrible design flaw. Playing just one round per tournament on medium difficulty SHOULD simplify things, but instead, it sets you up to fail.
In my recent US Open playthrough, I started at even par while the AI began at -8. To win, I had to score a -9, literally breaking the real-world record for a single round at the US Open. This was on 50 (medium setting ) making it even more absurd and breaks the gameplay's realism.
it also seems random. some tournaments will start the ai around par, and others will be -7 -8 This isn't just challenging; it's a fundamental flaw. Are others experiencing this? How are you managing? Without a fix, it seems we're expected to pull off near-impossible feats to succeed.
Needing to consistently break actual world single round world records on medium is absurd.. and I don't have enough time to play the full four rounds option.. are they going to fix this?
