8.7.2 is live on iOS

Fresh on the App Stores, we’re dropping another piping hot update for PvZ 2 today. Let’s dig in…

New Plants:

• Gloom Vine

  • Friendly vine buddy from the darker side of the lawn who’ll not only fume all zombies around it but power your shadow plants too.

• Draftodil

  • Flower power in the form of wind power! Draftodil will blow the zombies and competition away… literally.

New Zombie:

• Helpdesk Zombie

  • No company is ever without it’s ever present and hardworking IT department and ZCorp is no exception here. You’ll spot Helpdesk Zombie among the tangle of zombies in Penny’s Pursuit. Btw, cable management is important, ok?

  • He throws laptops at you. They hurt.

New Arena Seasons: Season 25 and Season 26!

New Penny’s Pursuits stuff:

• New levels: 8 new levels added!

Fixes and Improvements:

• Addressed various miscellaneous crashes that would occur.

• Implemented a more permanent fix that should address the perma-stuck Marigold loading state in Arena.

• In order to be compliant with the new Apple standard, players may see a new pop up regarding ‘third party tracking’. This information is relevant only to external ad providers and what ads they serve.

• Performed some clean up and changes to the app start to reduce initial start up time for players.

• Made some changes to the audio system to try to stem some of the growing issues to do with audio cutting in and out of the game - this is NOT a permanent fix. A more permanent and solid fix is still likely a full audio infrastructure overall which is no small or quick task.

• Appease-mint is now next to other Power Mints in the Seed Chooser.

• Headbutter Lettuce is now in a more chronological order in the Seed Chooser.

• Fixed an issue where the first calendar award wasn’t granted properly after updating the app from the store.

• Zombie Hamsterballs will now let you collect Plant Food more easily from defeated zombies.

• You can now tap on that pesky gem bank in the background of the Zomboss level perk selection screen.

• Boingsetta has a stronger knockback. This improves the plant and makes it effective against more powerful/larger zombies.
