Normally I don't care what other players do. If someone wants to spend $200.00 buying premium plants, gems and seed packets to level up their premium plants so they can have their 15 minutes of fame on YouTube - that's fine. That's a win-win for the player and EA. Everyone is happy.
But when you take the daily challenges out of the game to force people into BATTLEZ in order to get gems, coins and seeds then its impacting me and the game isn't fun anymore.
You win a match, then you lose 2 matches to players who have purchased Caulipower, Goldblloom and Imitator. I know that is supposed to motivate people to shell out the money to get those same premium plants... but no.
The game where you played and frequently watched commercials as you went along is gone. They changed it to this player vs player game where if you don't buy the premium plants - you have nothing to do in the game. I run out of activities where I can earn seeds or gems so I just do something else like play cards or something.
Adding Battlez wasn't a bad idea but killing off the old game format was. I assume that EA was making money off of the commercials under the old game format. They are going to lose some of their customer base, they're going to lose the people who liked the old game the way it was.
