Can't register data with EA account

Got a new phone and the current operating system on it is IOS 18 it's a iPhone 15, but now my old phone, a samsung galaxy A14 5G, the model is SM-A146U. I go onto my old phone let google play save my data to its cloud, then try to register with EA. I go through all the steps up until the part where it lets me choose my account. After which, the screen moves to a grey one and nothing else pops up for a while. I want to register my EA account so i may be able to move my data to my new phone. Is there any alternatives?
