Daily Event Extra Hard (earn 25 gems) Level NEVER ENDS

I’m not sure if this is by design or is a bug I keep encountering, but in the daily event second tab where you play eight extra hard levels to earn 25 gems, I have to replay the last level 8 to 30 times and then the days took by and the game times out. So it does not appear that I ever earned my 25 gems. Is this intentional?

    i am guessing you tried to play this on more than one different device ? you can only earn the 25 gems once.
