I've just looked in the store and Dartichoke seeds are available for gems for the next 14 days and you can buy more than one!

OK. I really don't care how effective Dart is. After doing the quest, I am SOLD! This plant is absolutely bonkers. I suppose I'll get tired of the graphics over time, but for right now, this is sure fun to watch.
And after last tourn where you had to make a move every second, I'm liking the speed of this a little better. Nice change of pace.
@linuxPigPen I especially love it when you have spearmint on and then you plantfood the little thing~~ xD all those shiny darts flying around......ooooh...little shroom loves shiny stuff!!
It seems like my large chunk of gems finally had something to spin on.Thanks to @MAGICDAVESHROOM for the season progress, @linuxPigPen for the preview of the 5th pinata!
It is nice to see the devs are making changes to the seasonal plants(above level 5 is legit without using money)

EA done screwed up and in my favor this time!.
Big Pig had 998 mints, 1028 gems and 34 gauntlets. He bought a 36 gauntlet pack for 150 gems. Big Pig now has 136 gauntlets, 1354 gems and 1308 mints. Man, I love this new math!
- @linuxPigPen my head hurts :P looks like you're all having fun... I might join today instead of starting in another 28 hours. Will see if I have time at any rate. I still haven't played any Penny's this week, was hoping it'd get reset but alas... anyone know what next PP's next plant will be?

Haven't spotted D'artichoke in PP today. I'm guessing it'll appear after the EON PP2 event ends.
Does anyone who's joined the Arena find D'artichoke's seed packets in the 5th pinata (as was the case with Blooming Heart)?

Learning how NOT to waste Gravebuster
Took Piglet for a spin in practice. He doesn't have Blastberry and his Corn costs 25 more.
Substituted Cold Snap for vine. Did a respectable 6.4 still , so no worries when his turn comes up later today.
I finished levelling up dartichoke to level 8 today. With spear mint it works ok,3 tries as the main offensive plant are just under 9M. maybe Will try to get him to Mastery.

Yay, I've tried it, and it seems stronger than I expected even in mid-level.
Next I heard Solar Tomato, then Cauli Power. I personally wouldn't mind if they skip Solar Tomato 😃
Right maybe ST will exceed my expectation too.

Ah Starfruit thy seeds haveth been plentiful
Straight to lvl7, ready to upgrade to 8 (for now I'm keeping all gemiums/new seediums at lvl7)
Also, I had reached 1m coins (yay), where are the days when I struggled to keep 50k in the bank :D
Big Pig went straight to 8 on Star Fart. Then used it to grind Big Wave. Kinda fun. But I still have no clue how it works. Piglet has 198 seeds. So no Star Fart.
But all is not lost! Piglet had a Wi-Fi crash after his second Arena play. He got 5 extra season points but did not get the 20 Dart. Worst of all, he lost 500 gems. Fired off a quick complaint. Got the 20 seeds back. Got the 500 gems back. Checked the almanac and Dart was unlocked and at level 2 after only 100 seeds. Another WTF moment brought to you by EA.
Don't know if anyone noticed but they're giving Dart seeds hand over fist in PP. Waited til late to play today. Big Pig done grinded 29 seeds. Piglet just started and has already picked up 14.
- @linuxPigPen You lucky piggy~~~ they only started giving dartichoke seeds after 11pm (uk time) i swear....i was playing my last round of PP and got it....at which point, i just finish the game and went to bed..... :/

I have just got round to read the forum posts and I have to say this is a very pleasant surprise, I like Starfruit (and imitator) a lot on PVZ1 and thought these would be available as F2P on PVZ2, so it seems now EA is moving forward in the right direction.
Starfruit seeds are now in the store for gems.
Get them before George Lucas starts up his new "StarFruit Wars" franchise with "The imppear strikes back"
