Diamonds Disappear along with Rented Plants

So both My sons and my game on IOS will sporadically not let us accept the last daily challenge of 10 diamonds. This has happened on both accounts of ours twice each so 4 times in the last month or two. Also we save our “Rent a Plants”, for the daily challenges. But his and my account always starts with a #3 next to the rent a plant and when you click on it then it says like you have nothing for the day. His account has been like this for months where I only experienced it today. Also the adds are BS…come on EA’s corporate greed is what made me hate and completely abandon video games. Don’t do this to my son. Look into this and do better.
