The negative coin is obviously caused by integer overflow, which is kind of weird given game resource should never go negative and unsigned integer should be used for which. Not sure whether PopCap used signed integers on both Android and iOS, but Java doesn't have native unsigned integer type. Is your device Android? If yes, may be try install the game on iOS?

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I'm using iOS already.

A small update:
I've been at EA help's throat for the past 10 days, since tuesday last week and so far no success.
It seems like my account can't be fixed even though I've gotten 4 messages telling me that it has indeed been fixed.
From what I understand they can perform a resource reset (because my coins are negative) and I got a message this afternoon telling me that it was done.
When I start my game I can tell that nothing has been done, my profile still has the same amounts of resources. So that boils down to a total of 5 "fixed" messages.
Incredible.

How exactly does a resource reset work? Will I lose other progress too?
Can I ask EA help to only reset some of my resources or will I lose everything?
