You are not alone! Same sh!t happened (is happening) to me. I have only negative 779million coins and lots more other gems etc than I had prior to reloading and restarting. I have gotten tired of the “go thru game help” or “go to eahelp online” and have all your credentials handy to input again and again. Multiple times I went back to the case to find it had been resolved. Was news to me! For what it’s worth, I think they have a bunch of idiots manning the servers and don’t know why it is all f’d up

I've not had any contact with support since the beginning of the year because of what you just described. They told me a few times that they can't set my resources to what I claim they were because there's no proof of how much I had. That sucks, but I suppose it's fair. What annoys me is that support can't even set resources to the numbers suggested by them which was a few hundred thousand coins, a few hundred gems and so on. At this point I would be ok with having all resources set to 0 as long as I can keep the rest of my progress.
Having negative coins and millions of gems, mints and gauntlets is a blessing and a curse. I can play as many arena matches and buy all the seeds I could ever want but I can't upgrade anything. The strangest thing is that plants that don't require coins can't be upgraded either! I still play the game but it's definitely not the same playing a screwed up version. If I could fix it myself I would've done that long ago.
