EA Help isn't helping at all (Pvz2)

I have written two emails, and I have literally had to wait nearly an entire week for two responses, and I do not want to do that again, especially considering that they will not be available on weekends.

I wrote to them because I was missing game content that I paid over $20 for, and I have requested twice in my emails that this specific content was to be restored to my new PVZ2 account. I provided screenshots of purchase history/proof, as well as the screenshots of player ID's for proof of my ownership regarding the accounts as well.

After the first email. they did absolutely nothing, and emailed me saying "we restored your deleted account." However upon checking both accounts, there was nothing restored whatsoever. I emailed them a second time, and I outlined my requests very specifically. I wanted certain items I paid for transferred to a certain account.

The second request took a very long time to write, as I gathered multiple screenshots, and wrote a lengthy email to reiterate what I meant in the first. I waited yet another 2 days only for the same person who responded to my last case to simply dismiss me and close my case completely, claiming he already solved the problem in the first case. Do they even read the goddamn cases?

I don't want to send another email, as it has shown to be an unreliable form of assistance. How do I access live chat or other forms of communication? I am extremely frustrated with the service I've been provided with so far.

Livechat is only available for pc versions of EA games.

If you registered your email address you could try tapping the cloud icon and trying a force sync and if that doesn't work try getting a code from the email registration scheme in case your missing content is still on their backup servers.

We think EA HELP is an Indian call center and has been struck by the current global pandemic, they are normally pretty good with missing content cases but they have also reduced their hours so all you can do is resubmit your missing content report and try keeping it short, to the point and polite.

  • @mu6teb2u7pmt Do you mean two accounts with different player IDs or one account with two profiles (one player ID)?

It could be that they merged your old and new accounts into one account with two profiles. You can check this by tapping on the icon next to your profile name. If that is the case you can go to "Restore purchases" in the settings to transfer your purchases to your new profile (Note: This only works for plants that can not be unlocked with seed packets).

You can also contact EA HELP via this link: https://help.ea.com/en/

If you fill out a report make sure to mark it as "missing content".

Hope that helps and you get your content back.
