So far every time I contact EA they tell me to post here since they can not deal with 'bugs' in the system.
It appears that I am 'registered' but the "completed" button is not being checked off !!
@lawmfw May I ask have you got more than one profile?
I got one of my profile registered sucessfully but after I change profile, it asked me to register again, I did as it asked but then it returns an error message. Just wondering if this is the same problem as yours?
Yes, I do have more than one profile. The 20 Gems would be nice but it would be much nicer to not have to figure out how to get past annoying messages !!

I do hope EA is fixing this soon and and not causing further issues next week when the event starts
I had some difficulty updating to the new version which may have been caused by the confusion of the email registration process
That may have added to the system being confused because I finally realized I had to select the Google Play button before trying to enter a profile !!
The process seems to have some glitches !

You have to manually type in full e-mail address letter by letter, not get it from auto correct list. Then it should work 🙂
