Event Bonus Plants Tokens Appearing elsewhere besides the MGP event.

Recently when playing on Penny Pursuit/ normal adventure mode world levels, I encounter this bug where I get this token showing out on my plants & it's kinna confusing because after I've played that particular level I didn't get any extra tokens & I wonder that if it's a bug, it's a confusing bug & hope it's fixed soon.
