You have to go on the EA help website for this.

go to pvz2, and open a case about your lost progress. (send screenshots of your account and device number before and after the data loss) When someone contacts you in your emails about it, reply so they know its still a problem after a while, if all goes well, they will give you another email saying they got your account back. Only thing that doesn’t come back are which plants you’ve favorited, everything else will be there.
This worked for me, but it’s kind of slow for them to get your progress back.

Already got it back by contacting them, but thank you. Was very scared my data was gone forever, but they just restored it in an instant. Cool stuff
