Gems

I completed 8 daily activities, which was difficult as my iPad keeps crashing after the recent update, and I do not receive the 10 extra gems. Gems are needed to buy games in tombastic adventures. So that points can be used towards getting the newer plants that were denied because the iPad crashed when another new update was installed. Any way these gems can be restored?
