I lost 2 years pvz2

Last year I lost two years of game progress for no reason. I still have the items from the Apple Store, but all my plants are gone. Can anyone help me? I'd like to continue playing, but having to start all over again and grind all the event plants from the arena isn't fun. And the support isn't really helpful, even though I've had very good experiences with their support before; they're always nice, friendly, and helpful.
