I need to change my account because my current email attached to my Google Play account is going to be deleted, so I need to change all my save data on my new email. The reason why this is a concern is because I've been on that account for several years, and spent over hundreds of dollars on seed packet plants that I can't get back.
EA Staff (Retired)Hi @dragonflymew I would recommend contacting our support through the in-game help options as well as taking a screenshot of your play id (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Plants-vs-Zombies-2/Account-amp-Mobile-Help-Look-here/m-p/7883871#M9093) in case you lose access in the meantime as they can take a further look at this for you.
Google allows you to have a backup email for security purposes.
If you sign up to EA's email registration scheme and keep a copy of your player id number then you have done what you can to be able to retrieve your account from the backup servers in the event of unexpected data loss, which sadly still happens too often.
