Identity Conflict - progress lost

I'm having problems retrieving my saved game using a different device.

I'm logged in through my Google Play account and EA Games.

When I choose the correct identity, I keep getting an error "Identity save has failed. Please check your internet connection and try again.

I have no problem with the internet as I can play other games.

Been trying to reach out to support but the case was marked resolved even without any resolution.

    Hey @gnicolas06 , have you tried using a different way to play online, such as WiFi if you're using mobile data or vice versa?
  • Hi yes, I tried using mobile data and still getting the same error.  

    And I can still play PVZ3 with the same internet connection

  • I am having problems with identity conflict also.  Please advise. Thanks

    @1fmkdhn3pi8w   This is an open forum, I suggest you blank out all or part of your original player ID before posting.

    Question:  could you select your original ID (with 2 profiles) and recover your account? 

    If this is not allowing you to proceed, I recommend try either install the game on a different device or completly delete the game on the current device and then perform a re-install.  

    @gnicolas06   If your have the same problem, I suggest to try the same as above.  Out of curiosity, could you let us know what device or devices you are using?

    @eieio_31310 I did try to reinstall but the same error shows up. Is there a workaround for this? My current device is a Samsung Note10.

    @gnicolas06   If re-install gives the same result, I would incline to think the problem is not local to yor device.  

    Since you have not mentioned nor confirm whether you have tried a fresh install on another device, if you do have access to one, could you give this a quick try please as this would rule out the fault is with the note 10?

    If you do not have access to another device, then your last resort is to contact EA Help Center by clicking the link at the bottom of this page to get further assistance.  Please be aware that you will need to provide your original player ID so the advisor can have something to work on.
