Is EA really this tone deaf?

With inflation at an all time high and prices climbing daily, EA thinks it’s a good idea to take away the free daily coins and gems. Or tie those items to “offers” where purchases are required. Are they really this tone deaf? This is absolutely a horrible idea.

Edited to add: free gems and coins have not been removed.

@MAGICDAVESHROOM I can’t imagine that many players will take advantage of these offers. And I doubt EA cares about the opinions of the consumers they serve. But I had to voice it.

I listened tp a podcast. Washed & waxed car, vacuumed, made dinner, washed dishes, built bird house, fed birds, dog & cat. Got a blessed 4 gems. EA needed to make some bonus money to pay for some better hearing aids. Doubt they will still hear us.

To play a little Devils Advocate, they do reward every single day you login. There wasn't anything like this in the past. Penny's pursuit also didn't exist at one time, but also gives another path for free stuff.

The rewards overall, I bet are much higher than the way it was.
