Lost all content-PvZ2 has me starting from scratch

Hello all- 

My game did an update last week and when I went to start the game, it had me start all over again with all progress from playing for years was gone. I tried writing to EA help and haven’t heard a word from them yet. It’s been about a week and I miss my game! I had all the plants, many leveled up to max, and plenty of paid plants. All gone. All my gems and coins are gone. 

Does anyone have any advice? This has happened before, but EA got back to me right away and solved my issue. This time, I’ve had a request to wait 72 hours and now I’m beyond that number. Any one else have this issue?
