LOST ALL PROGRESS by 11.8.1 update today

Just got a forced update and after the update is done, ALL progress are GONE. When I launch the game in Ipad, the game just started like I am a brand new account without any progress. PLEASE FIX IT ASAP.  All my efforts in the last several years are all gone.  Not acceptable.........

  • If you have registered your email address with the App and received some free gems in the past, you can try doing a re-installation and go through the email register again using the same address to get a code to verify you are the aqccount owner to restore your old progress.

    If you have not registered before or the above method failed to work, you will need to contact the Help Center by following the link at the bottom of this page to get further assistance.  Please note that you will need to provide your original player ID so the advisor knows which account needs to be restored from the server.

  • I did register before. But when I reinstalled the app, after entering my birth year/month, the screen said, identify conflict and asked me to choose the profile from the screen, HOWVER, none of them is mine. Those are TOO new without any items. But 8 could not get around with this screen, please advise how to solve this issue. Thanks

    I see the option of emailing for help (see image below). 

    I know some regions might have a live chat option and I do get this sometimes, I think it is depending whether an advisor is on duty on that region.

    EXACT same issue.  I've been emailing back and forth with ea customer support since Sunday with no resolution.  I've been playing since 2011.  I'll be super upset if all progress is lost and I just won't play again if it's unrecoverable.  No way I'm going to start over after 13 years.

  • I had this problem with the 11.7.1 update.  Mohd at customer service restored my progress after I sent a screenshot of my player id number.  I just updated to 11.8.1 and the SAME THING happened.   I just replied to the email from last month telling me they restored my progress.  Hopefully they can do it again.  I hope I don’t have to fill out a new request.

    If you signed up for EA's email registration scheme then you can get a unique code sent to your email address to restore your account from the backup servers.

    This takes about 5 minutes. 

    If you  have your player id number, you can contact EA HELP CENTER by tapping on help center at the bottom of this page.

    Please note that EA can't/ won't restore an account without your player id number so please screenshot it and keep it safe.

    If you have a new profile and can't get EA to recover your old one from the backup servers, they will add plants to your new startup account if you have proof of purchase from your purchase history.

    Hey i did register my ea account and still don't have my progress. What do i do?
