I start the matches with 2 Dusk Lobbers, 6 Moonflowers, and 4 Chard Guards. I then use all my Plant Food to get Sun from the Moonflowers that are boosted by having other Dusk plants next to them.
I then put out one Cold Snapdragon to slow down the first Gargantuar and then blow it away when it reaches a Chard Guard. (If I time it right)
After that I plant one more Chard Guard, 4 more Cold Snapdragons, and 10 more Moonflowers as and when I can, and progressively plant Dusk Lobbers. Once all the free squares have been filled, I progressively dig up the Moonflowers and replace them with Dusk Lobbers until I have 8 Moonflowers left. (All the time planting the Blover as fast as I can and using the Stallia when it becomes available.)
This means my reply to your question is - I don't really know for sure at any one point in the matches.
At a guess I would say I may have had 9 or 10 Dusk Lobbers and 5 Cold Snapdragons in place at the time when my Chard Guards were wiped out, but those fast Torch Zombies can still get to my Chard Guards even when I have a full complement of Lobbers. It all depends on the timing of the Dusk Lobbers and Cold Snapdragons firing. Sometimes the Zombies have their torches extinguished and/or get wiped out. Other times they sneak through.
I've been using the excuse of only "playing with free plants" since Battlz started and now you've ruined it for me!
All kidding aside, I can just about make it to a million this week. I have tried out the latest plant but I'm hoping that some Reinforce-mints will help me next week.
(I know it was terrible and I promise I'll only use that joke once).
