Forum Discussion
I have just seen a post from Euphoric-SeeWeeeed over on subreddit that the sun cost for BBF has been correct with yesterday's data push.
Is it worth upgrading Draftodil?
I'm currently at level 5 and Draftodil seeds are still in the store for a few days and I'm probably going to take it to L7 (50x sun), but is it worth spending the extra sparkly gems?

- 5 years ago@MAGICDAVESHROOM I don't think it is worth it,save your sparkly gems.

@MAGICDAVESHROOM If you have the gems to spare then why not?
The benefits are below
- Recharge is dropped from 3.5 to 3.0 seconds.
- Toughness (more chewy) increased from 600dps to 900 dps
- Damage (dps) increased from 90 to 150. (215 to 255 with plant food)
- Chance of blowing small zombies away increased from 85% to 100%.
- Stun duration increased from 0.95 to 1.25 seconds (4.4 to 5.0 second with plant food)
- Air Cannon shots (under plant food effect) increased from 8 to 10
Of all the improvements listed above, I think the 100% chance of blowing the imps/chickens/weasels/shrunken zombies away ( I marked it out in bold) is useful for Arena mode if you do plan to use it.

@eieio_31310 It would take about 1/3 of my sparkly gems stockpile to max Draftodil out in my two highest profiles.
I can't afford to do it for every seedium as well.
I'm sick of grinding 3,000 crowns per month and the thought occurred (too late) that i might as well skip the last 500 crowns for 300 seeds and just buy them with gems.
I am now hoping the resources doubling bug pays me a visit.
This would halve my grinding at a stroke.

I think you are not alone, there might be a queue of players waiting for getting an infection of this bug. 👿

That was what I thought earlier this week ... but then I realized not using it improves my scores.

@HenryThePear What did you use instead?
I aware Draftodil (especially at high level) can slowdown zombies too much (just like winter melons) and causing a drop in score because there is not enough of them appearing on the Arena.
- 5 years ago@eieio_31310 Yes you are right. I replaced all of them with the Turkeys instead. My score rose by around 4 million.
- eieio_313105 years agoHero
hmm, I still have three games left (to collect my 300 seeds), will give you method a try later. Thanks

I tried with my level 8, and M1 profiles.
With M1 plants I could break 10M which is not that great and with level 8 plants, the weasels were thanking me for making their Christmas come early. 👿
- 5 years ago@eieio_31310 I think everyone was thanking me except my plants xDD hahahahahaha

Me too. The damage looks a bit low but if the knock back effect works with Blover or even Draftodil then it is a very good plant to have for Arena.
- 5 years ago@PowerToss Hurray! Finally a new Pepper mint family plant.

I have just noticed the last level of the Pea Vine quest shows the letters PZ (Plant vs Zombies) on the lawn.

- 5 years ago@eieio_31310 Hmmm...now that you draw it out...that does fit the taro icecream perfectly 😛

I'm going to level up pea vine as much as my gems allow.
It has a damage multiplyer that starts at x1.5 at L1 and goes as high as x4 at L10.
If i understand the wiki correctly it also boosts torchwood if on the same tile.
According to the wiki it goes to x4 when boosted for all appeasemint family plants, which i assume includes bowling bulb.
Goodbye sparky gems, peavy- here i come.

Try to get it to level 8 if possible that is when the sun cost drops to 50, easy to put more out in Arena.

You may call them Yeti Imps but I call them 'Creepy Sheep'. Anyone else think that creepy sheep really need a cattle prod up the tuckus?
