Penny’s Persuit stage 3

Anybody have trouble with Stage 3 (canons)? Level 1 was fine. Level 2 onwards they wont die with just 1 shot. At the end a message appears that Penny is not impressed with the score L and i failed the stage while on level 1 i also didnt meet the requirments but I still got the rewards. :/
