Penny's Pursuit - why need to buy premium plants instead of unlockable packets?

Is dandelion the last former purchasable plant to become available by unlocking seed packets?

Starting with chomper, are the rest of premium plant (kiwibeast, torchwood, wasabi whip, jack-o'-lantern, and power lily) that cannot be unlocked by seed packets and required to buy? Why?

  • @CharlieSupremo If a plant becomes too unpopular, then EA might make it gemium. However, the OPs like Power Lily and Torchwood will remain premium.

Really makes you wonder why Chomper is still premium.

  • Good news as of now!

Torchwood is free by logging into the game for 7 days.

Chomper is buffed, his can chew more then 5 zombies but less then 10 without delays! His chewing delay is quite rare to happen!

Many Arena plants added in the game!

Former Premium and former Gemium plants became seed packet unlockables (e.g. Starfruit, Hot Date, Blooming Heart)

  • I know and I already have Torchwood.

Well, I just admit that former premium plants like starfruit are now seedium is considerably known as seedium. Instead of premium that is now free via seed packets, I shall consider former premium (collecting seed packets now) as "seedium" now.

Other plants require to buy online retains "premium" like apple mortar.

Anyway thanks for replying in this question.
