Hi,So this issue has been happening to me since 9.4.1 released yesterday. I'm playing it on Android. When the Penny's Pursuit timer for Zomboss finishes the 12 hours countdown, it resets again automatically showing "Out to Lunch".I wasn't recording the game when it first happened, but the second time around, I started recording when a few seconds were left. When the countdown finished, the "Out to Lunch" restriction was gone and I could enter the battle, but I didn't. Instead, I restarted the game to test it. This time again it was gone. Now I'm stuck for another 12 hours. I have already lost 2 chances to level up Cold Snapdragon.Seems like I'm not facing this issue alone. Many people are reporting it on Reddit as well as here. But that is not enough, we should let EA know about it.Please create a case with EA, I have created one too. Meanwhile, 2 options work for me:1. I've set 2 daily reminders for PP so that I'm ready to fight him immediately when the countdown ends.2. I wait for the countdown before refilling my ZPS meter to 100%. I play some levels, refill the ZPS meter, then fight Zomboss immediately without closing the app.

You can avoid the bug if you take all precautions.1. When you see Zomboss is ready to fight, do not close the game without fighting.2. If you are somehow forced to close the game, or if the game crashes, turn off your internet and open the game. Turn it on only after you pass the profile screen by pressing "Play".3. My Penny's Pursuit Zomboss fight refreshes everyday at 10:30am and 10:30pm. The store refreshes at 12:30pm and 10:30pm. So I try to complete the first fight before 12:30pm. I don't know if that matters. But I don't wanna take any chances.Also, PopCap have successfully reproduced the bug and are trying to fix this. But I don't think a fix will be available before 2022. Till then, these are our only options.

@enodllew76 I do not think this is a bug, Zomboss meter is designed to start with zero on every new event.

It happened to me twice today so I could not play any of the zomboss fight.Is there any way how one can get reimbursed for such inconveniences? It feels unfair since the game offers payed content. I have also similar issue with christmas event replay and often games in arena are crashing and I always loose my progress. It ruins the experience of playing☹️

EA devs had reproduced the issue and working on a fix, let's hope this is not going to take them too long (before we all are forced to update to this new buggy version)

It happened to me twice today so I could not play any of the zomboss fight.
Is there any way how one can get reimbursed for such inconveniences? It feels unfair since the game offers payed content. I have also similar issue with christmas event replay and often games in arena are crashing and I always loose my progress.
It ruins the experience of playing☹️

@anecccca I opened a case with EA on the first day itself and told them that I lost 2 chances. That would've meant 120 seeds of Cold Snapdragon.

The nice folks added those 120 seeds in my account.

I also have the same problem since yesterday.
My pursuit zomboss went out for lunch and forgot to come back, and I missed twice pursuit opportunity (6 runs to defeat zomboss, almost 120 pinatas T_T)
I hope to get some reply and know how to avoid this bug.Thanks

You can avoid the bug if you take all precautions.
1. When you see Zomboss is ready to fight, do not close the game without fighting.
2. If you are somehow forced to close the game, or if the game crashes, turn off your internet and open the game. Turn it on only after you pass the profile screen by pressing "Play".

I'm having the same problem even though the Penny's Pursuit has updated to the new version for the week. The Zomboss meter resets regardless of whether or not it's full. This happened all of the "Back to Far Future II" event and now into the "Kaleidoscopic Vision" event.

I don't mean the meter goes to zero. I mean it keeps going to "out to lunch"
