Plants vs Zombies 2 monthly $2.99 ADS Removal!

Do you remember the good old days when you pay for a game and then you own it! Well, I've been playing Plants versus Zombies when it was owned by Popcap and everything was awesome!

Then all of a sudden they sold out to Electronic Arts, and everything was still descent. Pants versus zombies, 2 was made and it was a fun game to play. Eventhough I had to adjust to the new gameplay, eventually I got used to it.

Then games suddenly start changing to free--to-play games. These games are fun yet very bothersome because they take your time in watching commercials!

So, I didn't mind watching commercials in order to get diamonds, gold coins and batteries, gauntlets, yet now EA is getting really freaking ridiculous. They are trying to force me $2.99 per month to get rid of unwanted ADS that they just added to their game! The thing that bothers me the most is that I bought plants and diamonds to support this game. And now they just kick me in the balls!

I'm going to try to download the original Plants versus Zombies and avoid these unwanted ADS. I'm no longer gonna play this game. Because the corporation that owns this game is very greedy! Whoever decided to place ads and charge you $2.99 per month to get rid of them should be fired!

I've played this game just about every day! On Pyramid of Doom, I am at level 800! That's how much I play this game, but I guess I am not going to be playing It at all! I'm going to look for some alternative games to play. It's sad after all of these years that I supported this game that EA is forcing me to delete Plants versus Zombies 2!

I hope all the gamers who play this game unite and boycott this stupid decision that Electronic Arts had made! 🤬😡🤬😡🤬

I am in the same boat. It this point I might consider paying a one time fee to be rid of the ads, but I do not trust them at all. EA is the greediest company, and I do not wish to give them any more of my time or money.

I paid some years ago to go ad-free for life but now they have put ads on and are offering me the chance to pay to be rid of them. Hmm. I did that already. Ridiculous. Of course you can’t get anyone to chat to fix it either.

Extremely annoying! And not only the unwanted ads, but the ads are also annoying in the way that they are mostly vertical - constant screen rotation, then they open google play - app switching, then those small close-ad buttons. Annoyance on top of annoyance!

I can only assume they expect us to quit & play the games they advertise to us.

it’s like flying in a rickety old plane while constantly watching commercials for better airlines with more perks.

Agreed. They can’t just have a simple ad. it is multi-layered, and purposely glitchy. Really sad to see my favorite game decline like this&nbsp;
