I was unable to figure out a way to restore my data, so I resorted to deleting and reinstalling the game. This did not help. My data was still lost. Even worse, I had purchased the ad-free version of the game which doesn't seem to be available anymore. So many ads......
I have been playing pvz2 for over 6 years and I've never heard of an ad free version.
There is an ad free version of the original pvz version that was sold through Steam.
(I still have that).
Losing account data is a common problem sadly, and i got so fed up giving the same answer that i now keep a standard response on my clipboard. 📋
If you signed up for EA's email registration scheme then you can get a unique code sent to your email address to restore your account from the backup servers.
This takes about 5 minutes.
If you have your player id number, you can contact EA HELP CENTER by tapping on help center at the bottom of this page.
Please note that EA can't/ won't restore an account without your player id number so please screenshot it and keep it safe.
If you have a new profile and can't get EA to recover your old one from the backup servers, they will add plants to your new startup account if you have proof of purchase from your purchase history.

Does anyone have an email address to contact them? I have tried their bot it is useless. I have my player ID. I have been playing this game for over 10 years. I have 197 out 199 plants and many of them over m10 or higher. I am in the Jade League in tournaments. I have already completed all of the Penny's Pursuit. I have unlocked Arena. I had over 350,000 coins or more plus a lot of gems. I am so disgusted. I did register with them 3 different times and got codes each time. They should have my info. But, I can't get ahold of anyone (human) that can probably easily recover all of my info. I re-registered again tonight and got another code. I signed up for an EA account (used same credentials since it wasn't recognizing my email address anyway). I am lost and need help. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. I tried replying to one of the codes email that was sent to me. But, no response.
- rainhaven20508 months agoNew Adventurer@A02E70C1 You can file a case in the Help Center and provide your player ID in the case. Depending on the EA advisor handling your case, it can take a few hours to a few days to recover your lost profile.

I am in the UK region and there used to be both email and livechat options, now there is only livechat.
- 8 months ago@MAGICDAVESHROOM Unfortunately, the chat is useless. It is just a bot that I can't get past to reach a human. It is restricting to 100 characters and constantly saying I don't understand what you are asking. Thank you for trying to help though.
