Plants vs Zombies 2 slow on iPhone SE

Question

The game is slow on my iPhone SE, I contacted EA Customer Experience about this issue and they emailed me with troubleshooting step, which was to try to install the game on friend's device (he has iPhone 6s, the game is slow for him as well) using the same account that i'm using on my device. I also tried to play with his account on my device. That method didn't worked,

and they said me to contact Answers HQ for more assistance

Hi, I've been facing this problem for a long time too, the problem is more common in endless mode when several zombies appear, this makes the game extremely slow and I take too long to finish the stage

Have you always had poor performance oh this device, or did it just start with an update? Can I check your ios version?

Unfortunately there's not a lot we can do past the troubleshooting already given, but we'll gather info.

Yes, the game was slow when i bought the device, my IOS version is 12.1 (16B92)I'm sorry for late response
