Power vine practice battle

I have tried to play a practice battle. I have chosen the plants I want to use and as soon and when  it gets to prepare your defences the game closes.

I have tried over a dozen times and I m not getting anywhere.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

All other aspects of the game are working.

    sorry to hear this is happening, Depending on the device your using can you go through the below link/steps and then check if this issue is still happening?

    PvZ 2 crashes in Arena with iOS 12.5.4.

    This thread also highlights and discusses the problems we are experiencing.

    The problem occurs in the battle arena and practice battles.
