PvZ2 stuck in Restoring Purchases bug

Same goes for me, 

Tried everything and still stuck on infinite restore purchase... 

I also experience this bug and it make adventure mod unplayable for me. I can't get new plants, upgrades, complete some of daily missions...

Online?: It does not matter, this happens both when I am online and offline. Therefore it seems as if it's a client issue rather than a server issue.

How to reproduce: start the game and enter the shop. It will happen straight away. It also happens in other places where the game decides to "restore purchases".

What did I try?: Clearing cache, deleting and reinstalling, starting the game offline. None of this helps. 

Every once in a while (one time out of 30?) the game actually goes past "restoring purchases" and reports "failed". This might be a related issue, but in the vast majority of cases it gets stuck.

Yes it's almost unplayable, I can purchase more gauntlets through arena with diamonds but that's it. Please let me know if you find a fix .thanks Rusty 

Hi everyone,

This issue is being investigated. If you are on Android, you can follow this workaround provided by MAGICDAVESHROOM: If you're on android, tap the small square icon or three horizontal bars (depending on version of Android) then clear the game and restart it.

I have been trying to buy missiletoe for 6 months using Google play credit, which used to be acceptable as i used it to buy most of my premium plants.

I currently have a £4🇬🇧 playstore voucher that i would like to use yet i cannot buy anything from the store and cannot talk to EA HELP about this.

Has EA stopped accepting google play credit or is this another bug?

@EA_Cath Yaay. There seem to be hundreds of people affected, looking at Google Play and different fora. Looking forward to an update fixing it. Some motivation might be that since this affects purchases (among other things), EA is losing money.
