Four questions regarding the Shadow Peashooter Ref - u/Haemophilus_EASo the Shadow Peashooter is about to make its debut and will seemingly require us to acquire 250 dedicated seed packets to obtain it. This will mean it taking quite a while before the vast majority of players even manage to get it added to their arsenal of plants.My questions regarding Shadow Peashooter are as follows:-[1] - How many hours, or even minutes, after the official launch time will it take before Battlez players find themselves confronted by opposition who are already using Level 10 Shadow Peashooters? (In other words, blatant Hackers/Cheats).[2] - What steps, if any, do EA/Popcap already have in place to protect honest players against such an eventuality?[3] - If EA/Popcap do not have adequate protections built in, will they be compensating players who fall victim to the cheaters?[4] - Assuming EA/Popcap DO apprehend any Hackers/Cheats who have achieved the impossible feat of already having, and using, Level 10 Shadow Peashooters within a very short time-frame after the plant's debut, will they undertake to BAN those offenders from ever taking part in any further Battlez matches? - If not, why not?

It was the Electric Blueberry and it was already at level 4 when Battlez first started.My next was the Wasabi Whip, which took another week or so. Like the Electric Blueberry, I already had it levelled up about half way when Battlez commenced.These max levels were both obtained before I started getting serious amounts of seed packets in the Battlez rewards.My latest max level plant is the Blover, and that took me 23 weeks to get up that far. This was despite it already being at level 3 or 4 when Battlez first started.Given where I am a present (Having the times 10 multiplier on rewards) AND starting from scratch with the Shadow Peashooter, AND assuming Shadow Peashooter Pinatas do appear as rewards, I'd say it would take 8 to 10 weeks if done exclusively through winning various pinatas. (Unless, of course, a player won 100s of matches in the Shadow Peashooter tournament and had a high multiplier. Even then I doubt if it could be achieved in just that one week - NO, I'm not about to try!)It would be less time than that for anyone insane enough to buy all the seeds, but it could well cost them hundreds of pounds/dollars/euros before they got to their target.If the seeds came in a bundle that consisted exclusively of Pinatas for the Shadow Peashooter it MIGHT cost a little less. However, if they came as part of a general bundle and only a percentage of the seeds in that bundle were for the Shadow Peashooter, it would price all but the most fanatical, and deep pocketed, of players out of the market.

Considering the fact that you know approximatively how many seeds someone with a huge streak and huge rewards get, and that there are already shadow peashooter seeds as rewards in Battlez, how many time (or how many games) do you think a lucky player would have to play to get the 7435 seeds recquired to unlock then to upgrade it to lvl 10 ? @HumplemannI guess that the main point, to determine when someone could legitimately get it lvl 10 ? 🤔Edit: well I guess the seeds are not in the Battle rewards yet my bad, only on Pinata Party & Tracker for now. I've just got a Modern Day Pinata rewards in Battlez with 60 seeds for shadow peashooter.So I guess if your streak is above 1000, you could get 600 seeds for it right ?So lvl 10 could be quicker than expected.Btw if you get extra seeds (more than the 250 recquired to unlocked the plant), you won't lose them after unlocking the plant (but yes you will lost the 250 seeds)

Considering the fact that you know approximatively how many seeds someone with a huge streak and huge rewards get, and that there are already shadow peashooter seeds as rewards in Battlez, how many time (or how many games) do you think a lucky player would have to play to get the 7435 seeds recquired to unlock then to upgrade it to lvl 10 ? @Humplemann
I guess that the main point, to determine when someone could legitimately get it lvl 10 ? 🤔

I just met one opponent with all plants maxed out, including shadow peashooter.

As you didn't specify what plants the opponent was using I can't really comment on the "All plants" part.
As you already know, I now have many plants at max, but not ALL of them.
Having said that, my load-out for this week would ALMOST qualify for such an assessment. It contains - Caulipower @ level 10 - Gold Bloom @ level 10 - Moonflower @ level 10 - Cold Snapdragon @ level 10 - Dusk Lobber @ level 9.
However, I CAN see how whoever it was had their Shadow Peashooter at level 10.
Before the Modern Day Pinatas in Battlez stopped giving seeds for the Shadow Peashooter last night I had been able to get mine to level eight and just under halfway towards reaching level nine.
If someone had the same high multiplier as me, (Times 10), and they played more matches than me before the Shadow Peashooter rewards broke, I CAN see how they got enough seeds to max out the plant.
Something that backs up that opinion was in a post I saw on Reddit today from Alien Gurke. It contained a screen shot showing a SINGLE award of 530 Shadow Peashooter seeds. Getting awards that big would make maxing out the plant pretty easy.

I meant for the Shadow peashooter 😉
He had Cold snap, Moon, Cauli and GB and ppm I think. Actually he just did 2M5 with that, not really impressive..
Which is kinda weird, I don't think he could keep a nice streak and play a lot of games if he gets score that are not that good for a player using only lvl 10 plants...

Well, at least I can see how they are keeping their streak by having nice scores.
But my opponent who is doing 2M5...well I'm more suspicious on how he could win and keep his streak with such a low score for a full lvl 10 P2W players.
Nice to see no answer from EA here on on Reddit btw 🤔

I think EA has seen this too and now removed the PS seeds rewards from Battlez.
