Have you both tried tapping the little square box with a pencil in it to get to the edit menu.
The ability to create new profiles was taken away months ago.

When i click on that little square it just takes me into the world menu it doesn't even let me change

It might be an issue with the new version. Do you already have 8.8.1 installed?
