I did a phone and other apps update and it seems to have started the June rewards so I can collect but missed out on the first 8 days of them as it did not backdate ones it was not working for. This was not a pvz update as that was already updated so maybe a software clash which sorted out with the other updates.
Worth a try to check if you have outstanding updates somewhere.

@kimjay169 Thanks for letting us know the other updates helps to restore the rewards but sadly I think you will soon find out what you have missed out are NOT the first 8 days if you are starting to collect the rewards from the begining of the month till the end of the month on a daily basis. What you will be missing out are the LAST 8 rewards of the calendar below, this is where some of the the top rewards (ehh, well 2x Mega Gatling Pea seeds are a doubled of a single Pokra seed) located.

I think the priority is to fix bugs and random App crashing but EA/PopCap should also be planning to find a way to compensates for the unlucky players who have missed out the rewards.
I'm having the same issues as everyone else. I'm not able to receive any of the June login awards and my screen is stuck on 22h 15min left until the first reward in June is eligible. I have the same issue with The Big Wave Beach event as well. It's very frustrating and I'm hoping EA/PopCap will be supplying us with rewards because we are missing out on everything for both events. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A.
