I've run out of level 1 practices but i found out that peppermint is better than gravebuster for getting rid of tombstones in my high level profiles, if someone would like to try it at level 1 and report back (not magicimppear who should be studying).

I think I might be able to defeat the Zomboss x40 times with Magnifying Grass xD
@HenryThePear Sure. I'll record a video...but the only reason I use MG is that a level 1 Pokra does not stun the Zomboss instantly. You can use Magnifying Grass to keep the Zomboss stunned. With a higher level Pokra the Zombot is stunned instantly....but I wanted to give MG a go for my mid level profile, too (out of practice).
Edit: No not consistently but with Imp-Pear I get 42 in 1 out of 3 matches

Tried two practices, one with grave buster and one with peppermint. (Results below)
I think peppermint is too weak for level 1 where the burning duration is not enough to clear the grave stones in this game. A level 7 or level 10 peppermint might be ok.

@HenryThePear Seeing what Ea has done on Enlighten-mint, I would use the mints to upgrade the Mints asap because we do not know when they are being changed to seed purchase....

Haha! I don't think it is possible because you miss out on all the Zombie points...but maybe with some luck/improvement of this strategy you can get him 41x times which would mean 43M^^

Tip: Keep the grave on R2 for as long as possible so Zombies spawn there and trigger the lawn mower 😉
I used my high level non mastery plants on my last practice and just managed to beat PowerToss's level 1 score using his strategy.😁

I have seen the video, this score beats most of the players with high level plants, maybe even some with mastery.
To me, it does not look stupid, it is a great 'thinking outside the box' strategy. A very good use of the level 1 F2P plants. Will definitely give this a try even I am not a fan of tapping.

WOW, 43M!
This is even better than my high level profile scores (highest I've got is just 42M).
Funny you decided to position MG further back as I did exactly the same thing last night when trying out your strategy, this is because I could not see the MG and it was eaten in one of the game and I kept on poking the empty tile.....
This strategy also needs full concentration as if you let zomboss escape to other lanes, then you will need to persuade him back on to lane 3 again.
