The first thing you should do is open the iOS settings --> PvZ 2 and take a screenshot of your player ID.

Now you basically have three option:

  1. Reinstall the game. The App store keeps a backup of you progress so you should not lose your progress. In case anything goes wrong EA can restore your account with the player ID
  2. Contact EA Help and file a 'missing content' case. They will need your player ID. 
  3. Wait for the next update. Usually an update of the game fixes such issues

Edit: I assume you can't just pause the game and surrender?

  • Thank you. I grabbed the ID and contacted EA Help.  Let's see if they suggest a reinstall....

    If you do a reinstall bear in mind you will get different store offers for two days so get any concealmint seeds before reinstallation.

    oops.  too late 🙂 s'ok.  The reinstall worked so I am quite thrilled just with that
