@HenryThePear   It seems someone did ask Haem about the 12 hour PP and below is her reply.  If I understood this correctly, we need to made best use of this zomboss shortened lunch hour to earn more gems, coins and seeds.

Seems like they fixed the Zomboss

Difficulty 2 is now 7 bars = 3x5 delicious gems

With Penny every 12 hours I think I can get my Aloe ready for lvl8

Now that you have to defeat Zomboss fewer times I'm getting 5 gems consistently on the second difficulty, but also on the easiest one, seems that's my max (2 rows of SV, squash in the front, fill up the rest with BB and refresh appease-mint)

Yep. 5 gems is max for me as well. That's still 30 gems per day...I'm almost back to 1,000 gems after spending a couple of hundreds on the Gumnut pinata.

I think apart from plant levels, luck also plays a big part, with level 1 plants, I only get 4 gems at best (on the easy level of course)  and with high level plants (level 8+) and above I could get 7 gems on easy and mid settings, and 6 gems on hard (with the 7th appear sometimes just after time ends). 

I choose to do the hard ones as they get me 11.1K coins + more seeds, worth the risk of one or two gems 👿

I played Big Pig on spicy. All I got was a lousy 1000 coins. Man, I had 4 columns of Lasers and was spamming Spear Mint like a madman. Guess I need a new strat.

@linuxPigPen   I use Blowing Bulbs and Appeasemint as they have better chances to deal continuous damage to zomboss.

I use Blover to blow away the throw imps.

And when is that "Will you take our survey" banner going to Go away? I looked at the thing and the questions must have been designed by head in the sand engineers. I've found the new tac code to be more attuned to customer needs than that thing.

I take it this is because you are using a laptop? if so an Asus Zenbook 14 laptop has a touchscreen and can be used in a similar way as an iPad.

You'll need a special screen/smartphone/tablet, but the harder you blow on it, the stronger the plant attack will get
