I've been having this issue today, and it crashed both times during pinata so I spent gems and got no reward. Also your help option dead ends at the select contact option.

Totally agree - my PVZ2 keeps crashing and the help pages are no help and any attempt to post a question or raise a case results in a dead end. This sucks!
