When a business causes an issue for it’s customers, it’s well within the costumer's rights to request compensation for any difficulties that it may have caused.

It’s up to the business to decide if the requested compensation is appropriate and applicable.

(For clarity: It’s not up to the members of the community to decide if the requested compensation should be granted, as you have no formal connection with the business beyond being a customer.)

    @qov62sebowof   In past when there had been issues with new updates affecting all players, PopCap did grant some compensations in the form of 'Free' gifts from the store, more often some seed packages and sometimes a small amount of in-game currencies.  

    This new bug (system slow down, lagging and overheating issue) is platform related, so I am not sure how PopCap is rolling out compensations for just us affected iOS users.  Of course, if EA manages to persuade popCap to give out free store gifts as a goodwill gesture, I do not mind sharing this with everyone, Android usres included. 👿
