I've been playing PvZ2 for many years. I make modest but regular purchases to support the industry. However, the new ad format seems like a slap in the face. I don't have the time to waste on watching ads, nor am I comfortable with being blackmailed, even at $3 a month, to avoid them. I will strongly consider leaving the game for one of your competitor's offerings if this mistake is not rescinded.

I'm under the same bout the first I found out about this when I was checking out the new PvZ2 update one late night. They purposely made a new ad system and snuck in that option to remove ads for 50 days without even any context in the update details in-game and on the App Store.
I’ve also played this game from the very start , and had to put up with micro transactions, but now after all these years you have to pay to avoid an add. I think you people should have your heads examined because this is so ludicrous. You idiots at EA who thought this was a good idea, sure don’t know squat about these games. You are going to lose A LOT of gamers. Go back to the way it was.
