With all of the new plants and the newer mastery levels I am finding that coins are more precious to me than the jewels are. With all of this new stuff I think they should double some of the coins that you win such as Mr Pinata. Yes I can watch an ad to get 500 free coins. But this doesn't help much when you have several plants requiring 50,000 in order to upgrade. Any others running into this problem?
The old streak system ate your gems, with every loss it went up by 10 until it was capped at 250 and it cost around 3,000 gems to get there.
There were still strEAkbrEAker bots around every 10th match but the rewards for the x10 multiplyer were worth it.
The smarter players picked tournaments where they did well with very few losses or dropped into the lower leagues to avoid the strEAkbrEAkers, from my own experience i found they were confined to jade.
The present seasons streak rewards are rubbish, Rackman70 did the math and figures don't lie, now EA are dangling the intensive carrot of shiny new plants as streak rewards.
Don't let me get started on mastery.
The only profile i have a lack of coins with is my mastery profile, tbh i long ago stopped doing ads for coins (i still do ads for gems and gauntlets).
I stopped upgrading certain plants because it's not worth taking them into mastery (stallia).
Perhaps i should get an intern to grind ads for coins, perhaps one of the little @eieio_31310 's would like the job?
I do not have problem with coins as I rarely upgrade my mastery plants.
There are ways to get coins, the quickest is pay $$$ to EA (at a high risk of getting the endless Restore Purchase bug), another way is to convert your gems to coins, you could use gems to buy world piñatas and this would have given you some coins in return, you can also use gem to buy gauntlets and play as much Arena battles as you can on the final boss week as there is a reward of 6000 coins in a single win. There is also a 'free' method, whilst in the real word, people say money do not grow on trees, but in PVZ2, coins can be grown in the garden. 👿

It is just a person's proactive... I don't like shiny plants so I upgrade all of them.. that is a different type of OCD xD
